a. To serve as a basis of response to the unity of the church especially as contained in our Lord’s Prayer that they all may be one- John 17:21.

b. To promote understanding, peace, unity and progress amongst the peoples in the Northern States (19 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja) of Nigeria through the propagation of the gospel.

c. To act as a forum by which its members can consult together and when necessarily make common statement and take common actions.

d. To act as watch person of the spiritual and moral wellbeing of the Nation.

e. To ensure that Section 14 (1) of the 1999 Constitution as amended which states that “The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be a state based on the principles of democracy and social justice” remains sacrosanct.

f. To create awareness through advocacy amongst Northern Nigeria Christians to stand firm against every form of violence, discrimination, and intimidation being meted out to any citizen (s) of this country.

g. Using peaceful means of persuasion, to ensure that no structure supporting ethnicity or religious intolerance, bigotry, discrimination, and intimidation is allowed to thrive in Nigeria.

h. To raise the political consciousness of Nigerians, mobilize, and organize them for the common good of our society.

i. To work towards the unity and indivisibility of the Nigeria State.

j. To do all other things, which are incidental towards the realization of its aims and objectives.
